Description: This AI short film by BAFTA-winning editor Hal Watmough was created during Google Labs’ Flow Sessions, where ten filmmakers were given full access to Google’s AI tools and support to experiment with new forms of storytelling. Watmough set out to make a playful single-shot film with animated elements about altruism—a simple man with a simple morning routine who slowly realizes he is the only thing holding the whole world together, emphasizing that, with or without AI, creativity is ultimately about the freedom to play.
