The AI Movie Awards (AIMA) officially unveils the presentation video for its 2026 Spain edition, confirming the festival will take place on April 24–25, 2026, at the Meliá Beach Calvià in Mallorca.
AIMA is an international film festival dedicated to exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and cinema. Created to foster dialogue between technology and human creativity, the festival positions AI not as a replacement for filmmakers, but as a powerful new language for storytelling.
“Artificial intelligence does not replace human creativity — it expands it,” says Federico Luglio, Founder of the AI Movie Awards. “AIMA was born to create a serious platform where filmmakers, producers, technologists and institutions can explore how AI is reshaping audiovisual culture in a responsible, artistic and visionary way.”
The 2026 edition, supported by the Calvià municipality, will feature screenings of selected AI-driven short films, panel discussions, workshops, networking events, and a live awards ceremony. The event aims to bring together creators, industry leaders, and forward-thinking audiences at a pivotal moment for global cinema.
