​This is a high-energy, hands-on GenJam where learning and making happen at the same time.We’ll kick things off with a quick Hypernatural tutorial, showing how to turn an idea, script, or prompt into a video in minutes. Then we jump straight into creation. 

​Small teams will build short cinematic pieces inspired by Chicago: neighborhoods, skyline, lakefront, CTA moments, architecture, local lore, sports energy, food rituals, winter grit, summer nights, and everything in between. Make a love letter to the city. 

​The goal isn’t polish. The goal is momentum, surprise, and finishing something.

​In about 3 hours, you’ll learn a new workflow, collaborate with new people, and leave with a finished video (or three).

​Schedule

• ​5:00–5:30 PM — Arrival, vibes, intros

• ​5:30–5:50 PM — Hypernatural tutorial: make videos fast

• ​5:50–8:30 PM — Team formation + creation sprint

• ​8:30–9:00 PM — Group showcase + reactions
