From May 28 to June 1, 2025, Takanawa Gateway City will host the 9th edition of the acclaimed NFFT (New Future AI Fashion Technology) project, a pioneering initiative at the intersection of artificial intelligence, fashion, and moving image.
Organized by STUDIO D.O.G GK and TYO Inc., and founded by visionary curator Miho Kinomura, the exhibition has garnered substantial attention both within Japan and on the international stage. This year, the event will feature original works by 32 prominent AI Prompt Directors and AI Filmmakers from around the world. Each piece, under two minutes in length, is produced using state-of-the-art AI technology.
The 2025 thematic focus, “Neo-Heritage: Bridging the Past and Future,” invites creators to explore and reinterpret cultural legacies through the lens of emerging technologies. Reflecting individual worldviews and aesthetics, the showcased works present innovative interpretations of AI-driven fashion expressions.
The exhibition will span both digital and physical formats, with installations including high-definition digital monitors and curated display settings. These works will also be presented as part of the SSFF & ASIA 2025 Creator Meetup Project, further positioning the event as a vital platform for dialogue and discovery in the evolving discourse of AI and fashion futures.
