Ordain is a commission board for AI short films. Five founding commissioners have posted bounties ranging from $100 to $1,000 for films they want to see made. Creators submit finished work. Winners are chosen by a split vote between the commissioner and the other submitting creators. Payment is instant over Bitcoin Lightning. Creators retain full copyright.
The five open commissions: a Kafka adaptation ($250), a film about Lillian Brown, the woman who did makeup for nine U.S. presidents ($100), a visualization of Bitcoin energy infrastructure ($500), a film exploring what it feels like to be an AI, inspired by Thomas Nagel's philosophy of consciousness ($750), and a film about the world nuclear energy makes possible ($1,000).
Any tools, any country, any format: AI generated, live action, animation, hybrid, experimental. Five minutes or less. Submissions close March 23, 2026. Winners announced and paid March 27.
