Create a 3D DNA Strand in After Effects

In this After Effects tutorial we're going to learn how to create a 3D DNA strand using only the free tools and effects available in After Effects, no plugins required!

The cool takeaway from this tutorial is the fact that if you select the 'continuous rasterize' button your 3D properties will be retained throughout your composition. This is a great way to keep your projects organized!
