If you’d like to see our list of tips instead of watching the video, check out the section below where we break down the process for you.
1. Take Some Images of Your Product
Any AI tool that can help you design shots or build branded marketing materials is going to require multiple, high-quality images of your product.
Luckily, using your smartphone should work just fine!
Take about 15 well-lit images of your product from different angles.
The more diversity, the better!
2. Use Kive.ai To Create Your Photos
After experimenting with a few options to get the best product shots, we recommend using Kive.ai.
The interface is easy to use, and uploading your product images couldn’t be easier!
You get to train your own model and transform the background and assets into anything you can image.
Follow these 4 simple steps to use it!
1. Find “Product Shots” on the homepage and click on it.
2. Click on the “New AI Model” button towards the top.
3. Select “Object” and get ready to upload your images!
It may take up to 5 minutes for the model to train based on your images. You’ll find it under “my models” on the Products Shot page when it’s ready.
When you click on the product, it will pop up a text prompt box for you.
4. Adjust the visuals and write a text prompt!
Kive will automatically @ your product and give an example prompt. Edit and refine whatever you want to include in the generation.
Now you can generate and check out your results!
Tip: We noticed that Kive recognizes cinematography terms, camera angles and excels at abstract prompts. Add your preferred details in and experiment with different ideas!
But there’s even more you can do with Kive!
After creating your product image, you can also use any of these features:
Extend (change the aspect ratio)
Image-to-Video up to 5 seconds (Runway)
Relight
Replace object or product
Erase (fix or remove artifacts)
Remove background
Check out the image-to-video result we got below! Pretty cool. :)
We think Kive.ai is a great investment for anyone looking to design creative, branded digital marketing materials. (And no, this isn’t sponsored, we just love the tool!)
The “Product Shots” feature is available in the Kive.ai Pro plan.
Kive.ai Pro Plan Cost: $100 per month
This might feel high, but the quality you’ll get is absolutely worth it!
3. Download Your Assets
Whenever you’re ready to use them, you can download your assets.
If you’d like to alter more details, you can always drop your product shots into Photoshop and keep editing.
But honestly, we were pretty impressed with the results from Kive.ai as-is.
Alternative AI Tools For AI Product Photography
Here are a few other tools you can use, if Kive isn’t for you.
1. Rendernet.ai
If Kive isn't in your budget, we recommend trying Rendernet.ai’s “Product Photos” feature that recently came out.
The process is pretty similar to Kive, just upload your product photos and add a text prompt.
Rendernet’s image-to-video feature has several options: Kling, Runway and Veo 2 are all available for you to use. We recommend trying Veo 2!
You can generate clips 5 or 10 seconds long.
Here’s a 9:16 video we made with Rendernet.
This could work great for social media!
2. EverArt
You can train a private model through a similar process using a platform called EverArt, designed for Marketing Teams using AI.
3. Lora Training
And of course, a traditional Lora Training process can also help you get consistent shots. If you’d like to learn the steps to train your own Lora, feel free to check out this useful video we created.
This one is a bit more complicated, but it totally pays off! This works for both human subjects and objects.
