One of the more impressive aspects of Happy Horse is that the motion quality isn’t terrible, especially compared to some of the bargain-bin AI video generators out there.

In our tests:

• Character movement generally remained coherent.

• Camera motion felt relatively stable.

• Multi-shot transitions were actually understandable.

• Environmental interactions worked surprisingly well in specific scenarios.

Take the “monkey cab driver” test (shown below), for example. While the vocal delivery was a bit rough, the physical animation itself actually held together reasonably well.

That alone puts Happy Horse ahead of many budget AI tools currently flooding the market.

A recurring issue was visual detail “vaporizing” or morphing as the scene progressed.

We really notice the detail struggle through things like faces drifting throughout the shot, textures changing, and just objects outright losing consistency.

The internal voice generation was consistently one of the weaker links. The outputs struggle with having a robotic delivery, awkward pacing, and an unnatural cadence.

This is pretty common when it comes to the current state of native AI audio generation.

Should You Use Happy Horse 1.0?

Happy Horse is not bad; in fact, it’s already better than the majority of AI video tools out there. However, it currently sits firmly in third place among the best AI video generators we’ve tested here at Curious Refuge.
