How to use Higgsfield Draw to Video AI Video Tool | 12 AI Film News Headlines

In this article and video, I’ll talk about 13 of the latest AI Film News headlines. The biggest, of course, is showing you how to use Higgsfield’s latest ‘Draw to Video’ update.

In the world of AI Film News, this past week started slow with only small AI Film news updates and new AI tools, but it quickly turned a corner. One of the mostt interesting part was how many people were playing with Seedance and talking about the quality of the tool.

I had to jump into that conversation to see if it would hold up against Veo 3, and I was definitely surprised.

Below is both a video and an article diving deep into the latest AI Film News. Check it out, and I hope you enjoy it. :)

Below is the video highlighting the latest AI Film News. We cover tons in the video, but if you want even more updates, check out the article below or subscribe to our newsletter to get it sent straight to you.

Higgsfield’s AI Video Update | 12 AI Film News Headlines

Here’s your complete breakdown of the most important AI film news updates and tools of the week. Make sure you check out the video above for some tutorials on how to practically use the latest tools below.

1. How to Use Higgsfield’s “Draw to Video”

Higgsfield launched a brand new drawing-to-video tool that lets you sketch directly on an image to control character actions in AI video generation. There has been a ton of hype around this update.

It works across models like Veo 3 and Halo v2, following prompts reasonably well—though physics can be shaky. This is one of the most direct ways yet to “direct” AI video.

The downside is that the first frame of your video is the image with all of your sketches and prompting on it, so if you are wanting to use it, you’ll need to edit the first frame out.

2. How to Get Unlimited Seedance Pro Generations

Speaking of Higgsfield, they are offering unlimited 5-second, 480p generations with Seedance Pro. This mopdel is one of our favorite at the moment so this is perfect timing!

We’ve spent a ton of time over the past 2 weeks really looking into the output quality from Seedance, and it really excels in motion realism. I’d say the biggest issue is the slight exposure shifts it adds to clips at the very beginning.

3. Prompt Hack for Multi-Shot Clips with Seedance

We saw this trend online and wanted to test it out. When you are using seedance you can prompt for a multi-shot scene by adding “cut to” in your prompt. Here are some examples below.

As you can see, close-ups often work well, but wide shots can cause character changes and continuity errors.

4. Adobe Photoshop AI Upscaling is Here

Adobe either didn’t plan well for this launch or they intentionally didn’t want a lot of attention on it. They recently released a new AI image upscale feature. We compared it to other popular image upscale tools. It wasn;t the best, but also wasn’t the worst.

Adobe Image Upscale

Enhancor + Gigapixel

My favorite workflow right now is using enhancor to make the facial features less plasticy and more realistic, then taking that output image through Gigapixel.

5. SkyReels Just Launched 40-Second Talking Avatars

SkyReels’ latest launch of version A3 enables up to 40 seconds of lip-synced talking from a still image and audio. The first 5–10 seconds look decent, but quality drops in longer runs.

Best for short dialogue shots; alternatives like Runway or the Hagan workflow may be stronger for higher fidelity.

6. AI Sketch Comedy Competition Voting is Open

Voting is open for the top entries in the AI sketch comedy competition, with a $6K prize and a macaroni-and-cheese-scented candle. Check out the films and vote for whichever you think is the best!

7. Autodesk Flow Studio is Live (Formerly Wonder Dynamics)

Autodesk has relaunched Wonder Dynamics’ tech as Flow Studio, integrating AI motion capture, 3D scene creation, and camera tracking exports to Blender, Maya, and Unreal. A versatile tool for blending AI and traditional VFX workflows.

8. Genie 3 Competitor Matrix Game 2.0 is Here

Matrix-Ganm 2.0 is an open-source alternative to Google’s Genie 3 lets you create explorable 3D worlds in real time. While not as visually sharp as Google’s model, it’s an impressive and fast-moving open source achievement.

Not only that, but this announcement came only days after Google’s. I am incredibly excited to see all of the progress these types of tools make in the next few months.

9. Major Mesh2Motion Updates Coming Soon

An upcoming update will add video previews, an animation player, and better navigation. This AI-powered animation tool functions like a prompt-driven version of Mixamo, making it easier to generate custom character movements. This is going to be such a massive update for those wanting to utilize this type of 3D technology!

10. Runway Aleph Can Redesign Your Home

We have already covered Runway Aleph a couple of times, but Runway recently launched this video showing how you can utilize the tool to redesign your home. This is such a cool experiment and I can’t wait to test it out in my own home. Check out this tutorial on how to use Runway Aleph that we recently launched.
