3 New AI Video Generators You Need to See | AI Film News

Check out the latest AI film News and updates below!

1. 3 New AI Video Generators

Three heavyweights just entered the ring, but there is a clear winner in terms of cinematic quality.

Kling 3.0

Runway 4.5

Luma 3.14

Kling 3.0:

Kling 3.0 is a powerhouse. It features multi-shot sequencing, native audio, and a start-frame / end-frame workflow that gives you unprecedented control over continuity.

  • The Good: In our testing, it delivered incredible handheld camera motion and facial realism that felt truly cinematic.

  • The Bad: It’s pricey—clocking in at about $2.70 per 15-second clip.

Luma Ray 3.14:

Luma Ray 3.14 is keeping Kling on its toes. In some specific tests—like underwater scenes—it actually outperformed Kling with more natural lighting and physics.

Runway Gen-4.5:

Despite the marketing, Runway's latest update felt a bit underwhelming. We saw awkward animations and spatial distortion that made it feel less "pro" than its competitors.

Below you can see how each of the models rank.

2. 3 New World Building Models

Google’s Project Genie, Pixverse’s R1, and Odyssey 2 Pro are changing the game by turning single images into playable 3D environments generated in real-time. Imagine uploading a concept sketch and immediately walking through it as a 3D space.

We aren't fully there yet, but the days of pre-built game engines being the only way to explore worlds are numbered.

3. New Realtime Character Tool

Lucy 2.0 is a new system that allows for instant clothing swaps and live head-tracking performance. The hair physics alone were enough to make us do a double-take. When you pair this with AI upscalers, we’re looking at tools that could rival traditional animation pipelines within the next year.

4. 2 New Video Upscalers

Topaz Starlight Precise 2 has arrived and this remains the gold standard for upscaling. The "Fast" model is a new version that is supposedly cheaper and faster. It’s okay in a pinch, but for professional detail, Precise 2 is the way to go.

Topaz Starlight

Crystal AI Video Upscaler

Crystal Upscaler also launched an AI Video upscaler. The quality is not nearly as good as starlights, but could be decent for those wanting to pay per generation and not pull the trigger on praying for Topaz outright.

5. New AI Music Generator

Minimax Music 2.5 is producing tracks that are so structurally sound you might forget they were generated by an algorithm. While a slight synthetic tone remains, the vocal quality is reaching a point where it’s a serious tool for ideation and temp tracks.

6. An Update on Higgsfield

Some light has been shed on inappropriate actions and tactics from this company. We will no longer be providing updates here. Check this article for more information.

7. Hedra Omni

Hedra launched aa brand new lip sync model. In all honesty, we still prefer Heygen.

8. Feel Good AI Film Competition
