Which is the best aggregator?

Below is our breakdown of the best AI video tools subscriptions.

The Criteria for Testing

To make this comparison fair, I didn't just push a few buttons. I ran every tool through a realistic production gauntlet: a two-minute short film built with an image-to-video workflow.

The production math looked like this:

  • Total Shots: ~48 (Average shot length: 2.5 seconds).

  • Image Generations: ~480 (we assumed a 1 to 10 success rate).

  • Video Clips: ~288 (we assumed a 1 to 6 success rate).

We generated all of the images from Nano Banana Pro, and we generated 4 videos from Veo 3.1 quality and the other 4 videos from another miscellaneous AI Video Generator available in the specific platform.

After these test we recorded the time and costs and did the math accordingly to see how long it would take to generate a film based on the parameters above.

AI Video Subscription #1: Freepik

Going into the test, Freepik looked like a likely winner, and it mostly delivered on that promise.

  • Workflow Win: You get resolution control up to native 4K and a timeline view for dragging images straight into animation.

  • Results: It clocked in at 2 hours 21 minutes and cost $416.

AI Video Subscription #2: Krea

Krea is one of the early legends in the aggregator space, and it really shines when you need to move fast.

  • The Pro Move: It features a near-infinite generation queue, meaning clips run concurrently instead of one-by-one.

  • Results: Total time was 4 hours with a cost of $457.

AI Video Subscription #3: Higgsfield

Higgsfield is a bit of a wild child in the ecosystem, but it delivered a massive surprise on the budget front.

  • The Good News: It offers "Cinema Studio" presets for cinematic prompting and frequent promotional video credits.

  • The Headache: The interface is honestly a bit overwhelming and forces a lot of extra exporting and re-uploading.

  • Results: While the workflow was messy, it was the cheapest option at $150.

AI Video Subscription #4: Leonardo AI

Leonardo offers many familiar tools like upscaling and multi-model selection, but it struggled with the clock.

  • The Drawback: Image generation was extremely slow in our testing, making it hard to recommend for fast-moving productions.

  • Results: Total time exceeded 5 hours, costing around $350.

AI Video Subscription #5: Adobe Firefly

Adobe has quietly shifted into aggregator territory, letting you tap into multiple models alongside their native Firefly generators.

  • What Stood Out: The "Boards" feature lets you generate four assets at once, and the visual scene layout is incredibly intuitive.

  • The Catch: Creative Cloud and AI credits are separate subscriptions, which can feel like a bit of a gut punch to your wallet.

  • Results: Total time was 3 hours 13 minutes, with a cost of roughly $504 per month for a two-minute film.

AI Video Subscription #6: Artlist

Artlist has pivoted hard from stock footage into the world of generative AI.

  • The Vibe: Their "Explore" page is fantastic for learning from other creators' prompts.

  • The Issue: We ran into frequent failed generations and the lack of credit packs means you’re forced into subscription upgrades.

  • Results: This was the most expensive at $611 for nearly 4 hours of work.

AI Video Subscription Wild Card: Google Flow

Okay, technically, Google Flow isn’t an aggregator—but it absolutely crushed this test.

  • Why it Wins: It allows for rapid multi-generation via reused prompts and offers free image creation.

  • The Stats: It finished the job in just 56 minutes for a total video cost of $72.

Final Verdict: The Best Combo for AI Filmmakers

After running the numbers, I recommend a two-tool strategy for any serious creator:

  1. 🥇 Google Flow: This is your speed demon. Use it for fast iteration, free images, and professional-grade output.

  2. 🥈 Freepik Pro: This is your Swiss Army knife. Use it for multi-model access (especially Chinese video models) and its intuitive interface.

Together, these two give you the ultimate balance of speed, cost, and creative control.
